Massage Therapy
With over 20 years of experience, I have massaged hundreds of men and women from all services of our military from nearly all career fields as well as those on the civilian side from many sports and jobs. Along with massaging thousands of clients over the years, working alongside civilian and military physical therapists, attending many workshops and certifications, I am an athlete myself and I understand the demands on the body which allows me a unique perspective as to the how's and why of how dysfunction works in the body and what to do about it.

MASSAGE CUPPING
Have you wondered about the benefits of massage cupping? As stated in the ICTA's Contemporary Cupping Methods handbook, "By creating suction and negative pressure, this therapy releases rigid soft tissue, drains excess fluids, toxins, loosens adhesions, lifts connective tissue, and brings blood flow to stagnant skin and muscles. Myofascial release is direct, and correct application addresses a myriad of debilitating and stubborn conditions. Restructuring of the myofascial bands are possible with cumulative treatments. The methods are easily modified to support a wide array of massage techniques and pain issues. Another benefit of Negative Pressure is that it really feels great. The pulling action engages the parasympathetic nervous system, thus allowing a deep relaxation to move through the entire body. It is not unusual to fall asleep when receiving this treatment. Clients often remark how relaxed, warm and light they feel - hours....sometimes days afterwards."

WHAT PEOPLE SAY

Bjorn
Steph has been my massage therapist for the past 2 years. I am a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu practitioner. Thus, injury rehab and prevention are crucial. Steph has a very strong background in athletics, coaching, and massage therapy on athletes. Her unique skill set and perspective have been a blessing. Simply put, Steph helps keep me on the mats and on the podium

Steph's massage technique has been so much more than for mere relaxation. She has truly been able to get to the root of my neck/ back and headache issues. She is sweet, professional and so knowledgeable. Immediately I could tell the girl knew what she was doing and was passionate about helping people feel better.

I saw several doctors and physical therapists about my degenerative shoulder issue. None of them made a difference in my ability to function normally! Then I met Steph. Thank you for your amazing work!! I was able to go to boot camp (do a bazillion push-ups) and reach the top cabinets without ANY pain!
