GENTLE YOGA with JACKIE
Wednesdays, starting Aug 20th, 6 - 7pm
Jacquelyn has loved yoga since her first child’s pose, in 2001. She was able to deepen her practice into teaching in 2015 at Nandi Yoga, in San Mateo, California. Under diverse teachers, she trained in many styles of yoga, including Vinyasa, Restorative, Gentle, Yoga Nidra, Breathwork, Trauma informed Yoga, Pre and post-natal yoga, and yoga for children and families. Yoga has been a transformational path of healing the mind and body, a practice she loves to share with others.Jacquelyn is now an Internal Family Systems Somatic Therapist who uses elements of her yoga journey to aid in her therapeutic practice as a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor, with Presence Somatic Therapy, in Spokane, Washington.

We'll talk research, symptoms, lifestyle changes, and how to not just survive but to THRIVE in this new journey.

MEET STEPH
Hello! I'm Steph Shimkus. I am a mother, wife of a retired military member, athlete, animal lover, nature enthusiast, adventurer, and a woman learning to navigate this new season as women going through the beginning of the menopause transition. I've spent 25 years in the health coaching industry as a doula, massage therapist, nutrition coach personal trainer, and certified health coach working alongside people at all stages of their wellness journey. Helping people is my passion. Helping you learn to not just survive menopause but how to thrive during this season in your life is my mission.
